I am going to put my running shoes on and start walking again. I will be gentle and patient with myself as I have FMS, but I know I can do this. Start slow and build up.
Since having some medical issues over the past few years I have become severely anxious and less motivated to be active. Every day I’m going to go out for a walk in a different direction and a little longer time. I’m going to try and conquer my anxiety and get some exercise at the same time.
I am a cancer survivor of 16 years and one thing I have learned is that you do not stress about the small stuff. Be thankful for each day and make sure you do something each day to appreciate your life. Take a walk, relax and read a book, play with your children, your grandchildren, tell the people you care about that you love them, stop and check out the beautiful sunset or sunrise, sleep in if you want to, sit outside on a warm summer day and just breathe in all the smells around you. In other words, appreciate life.

This winter i want to get the feel for skydiving at an indoor sky dive centre. My #OneNewThing will be for the spring time… I will skydive for the first time!!
